Please be advised the ships are historic, and as such have asbestos aboard. It has been treated and is completely safe when left alone. Please do not hang on, nor touch wrapped pipes. Remember, these vessels are National Historic Landmarks and war memorials, and are irreplaceable.
April 1 - October 31, 9:00am-5:00pm - 7 days a week
November 1-April 1, 9:00am-4:00pm - Friday - Sunday. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
Administration is open Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. Overnights are available, please call 508-678-1100 ext. 102 for more information.
The Maritime Museum is open 11am-3pm daily April 1-September 1, open weekends, September 1- October 31. Closed November 1 - April 1. Group tours, functions and special requests are available by calling 508-678-1100.

Battleship Cove is conveniently located in Southeastern Massachusetts on scenic Mt. Hope Bay. Take Exit 5 off I-195 or Exit 7 off Route 24 South. Follow signs to Battleship Cove, 5 Water Street, Fall River, MA 02721.
The Maritime Museum is located at 70 Water Street, Fall River, MA 02721, just a short walk up the street from the Battleship.
Free parking is available at Battleship Cove. If you need special assistance, please call 508-678-1100 ext. 101 and our staff will assist you.
Due to the nature of the museum's historic ships, Battleship Cove has limited accessibility. please call 508-678-1100 ext. 101 for exact details. The Maritime Museum is fully accessible.
Food service is open 10am-4Pm daily featuring a variety of sandwiches, soups, french fries and daily specials from Edible Creations. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase in the Visitor Center and in vending machines throughout the campus. The Visitor Center also keeps menus of local establishments - we are happy to assist you in picking the perfect lunch or dinner spot!
