Artifact Donations

Due to the volume of offers and storage space restrictions, Battleship Cove cannot accept materials without prior communication and subsequent approval by the Director of Collections or the Director of PT Boats Collections. Please note that this includes donations sent through the mail and dropped off in person. Battleship Cove reserves the right to return and/or dispose of unsolicited items at the donor’s expense. Battleship Cove is unable to answer queries regarding the authentication and appraisal of artifacts.

Battleship Cove actively and primarily collects artifacts of a historical or educational nature that relate to those who served on the vessels located at the museum.

The Maritime Museum actively and primarily collects artifacts related to the maritime heritage of Fall River.
PT Boats, Inc. actively and primarily collects artifacts related to all PT Boat squadrons, tenders, and bases.

The museum preserves these historical artifacts to share with the public and future generations through exhibits and research.
